I am Marcelina, a Polish artist living in Switzerland, in a quiet countryside near Zurich, together with my family.

My journey into the world of art has been anything but conventional. I began my professional life working with languages, studying translations, and later transitioned into roles of accountant and ethic specialist in the corporate world. These experiences shaped and voiced my analytical side, but my heart has always craved art for self-expression.

As my life had changed together with giving birth to both of my children, I revisited my own childhood memories and recalled the states of flow where there was nothing but experience of pure presence during painting or writing.

From then on my right hemosphere started to be more and more active, experiencing love and exploring what does it mean to be a mother, to connect with my soul and trust my intuition. The big and small questions about life and its purpose inspired me to take a brush and paints and just let go off my analytical mind. As the paint was flowing on the paper, I realized this feels so good and I wondered why I kept this meal for so long away from my soul.

My work is a reflection of growth, stepping out of my comfort zone, searching for balance and pursuing joy through art. Now I want to share my further steps on this path with you and I hope you find yourself comfortable in here.
